Toronto-based punk outfit Sham Family have returned with their fantastic new single, ‘React’. It’s a menacing, fast-paced cut that layers distortion fearlessly and relentlessly. A brash lead vocal sits at the top of a wall of sound, with its own distortion carving its way through manic drumming. The track is a “rebellious response to the noise of media-driven narratives, challenging the notion of being coerced into predetermined reactions. [It] delves into the pressure to conform to societal expectations without the luxury of full context.
